Operations Brief

INITIAL WESTERN TOWERS in the following manner:

The Chairman Engr. Samer Al Kadri who has graduated from one of the most renowned engineering university of Syria, personally attends customers’ inquiries. He has 23 years hands-on experience of construction, designing, renovation and maintenance. Engr. Kadri has also worked in USA for 8 years with reputable Civil & Construction organization.

The Company’s Development & Construction Manager Engr. Sharif Hamati, a proud AUS alumni is constantly catering to all project to provide a safe, fast paced working environment.

Our surveyor is surveying the customer site and the surveyor collects all drawings and other information and submitted to the design office for their study and review.

Design Office head conduct meetings with customers/consultants etc. for briefing of the project and pass his findings with project drawings to the estimation section.

The estimation section makes a research on material and equipment required for the project and prepares proposal based on drawings and BOQ.

Upon finalization of the proposal, we prepare detail shop-drawings for approval of Customers/consulta

Upon approval of the shop-drawings, our procurements section collect samples of the materials and equipment mentioned in the BOQ for the customer/consultant approval.

Having received the approval of the materials and equipment, the General Manager shall provide work/progress schedule to customer/ consultant for their approval.

Once customer approves the work/progress schedule, INITIAL WESTERN TOWERS UNITED TOWERS mobilization of work force, machine, equipment and material at the project site

Company Organizational Structure

Head Office

Initial Western Tower Contracting Company, Head Office is ideally located in KSA. It comprises of one floors where (4) Senior Managers supported by approximate sixty middle and lower management including engineering staff together with other office staff operate; meeting daily planning and implementing their services and work strategies. The office is fully computerized and appropriately equipped with telephone lines/fax while all Managers and Supervisors have pagers and mobile phones.

Contracting Company is structured such that the Operations Department is able to freely undertake some of the most prestigious and demanding contracts and received the required coordinated back-up support from all other departments, thereby functioning efficiently to the fullest satisfaction of our clients

Executive Office:

The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for the overall functioning of all departments within the Company. All Department Heads report directly to him. The Company also maintains a cross-reporting system as explained herein.

While the Chief Executive Officer deals with most major issues of the Company, a considerable amount of decentralization is adopted throughout the hierarchy chain, whereby all Department Heads have maximum decision making authority, to ensure speedy and efficient performance.

2. Operation Department:

The Department undertakes complete responsibility of all contracts and their operations. More than 40 Projects Coordinators, Supervisors and Support Staff to secure and efficient and effective services to our clients support him. The department is responsible for project performance, client’s queries and staff welfare.

Project Controllers are available and reachable to all clients at short notice on office phones his residential phone, pager (and mobile phone).

Administrations and Personnel Department:

The Department provides administrative and personnel

management support to Western Towers Contracting Company

organizational structure. This department maintains and updates al

legal documentation, Arabic files, certificates, visas, passports, eamas, staff documents, attestations, etc. and attends to Government Relations/Police matters etc.

It is supported by a team of qualified UAE and other Arab Nationals staff to assure his departments performance and is available to clients for any problem solving on legal matters or feed-back on all issues to his department.

Finance and Accounting Department:

The Department Head is responsible for all financial matters and controls, preparation of budget forecasts and monthly financial accounting, statements of each costs center/contracts or projects. Monthly payroll and financial records for all employees are maintained regularly. He is supported by seven bookkeepers and cashiers in his department and is available to all customers and suppliers for any matters related to his area.

Sales department

The responsibilities of sales manager is in promoting Initial Contracting Company Ltd various services to potential customers, informing them of the company’s abilities and its values. Also, advising clients of regular improvements/developments within the organization. The sales manager is assisted by Sales Representatives and Support Staff in the office and coordinates sales with the Managing Director, Operations, Administration and Finance departments. He is available to our customers for further information about the organization and its services.

Purchasing Department

The Department is responsible for coordinating material and equipment requirements of projects in the most efficient and economical manner.

Quality Assurance/Control

The Department Head is responsible for transfer of Western Towers Contracting Companies international service standards.

8. Training Division:

Regular training is provided to staff, conveying client’s specific requirements to workers, ensuring that staffs on projects have the required skills to carry out their responsibilities and functions effectively and efficiently.
